Suddenly, at home, with family by his side, Bill passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Pat for 46 years.
Loving father of Melissa (J.C. Paquin). Cherished grandpa of Kiara and Fiona, who were his pride and joy. Predeceased by his parents James and Jean Moffat of Scotland. Brother to Helen (Alex Carson) and uncle of Alex Jr. (Tess) of Langley, B.C.
He will be deeply missed by family, his many golfing buddies, friends and acquaintances. He was a long-time member of Stittsville Golf Course, loved the social aspect of the game and always got a kick out of giving some of the guy’s free golf tips. He leaves us with his great stories, many fond memories and heavy hearts.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service or funeral. Donations in his memory can be made to either the Canadian Down Syndrome Society: cdss.ca; Innovative Community Support Services : icss.ca or charity of your choice.
