It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Raymond Bruce Dowe on Saturday, July 6, 2024 in Ottawa, ON. Beloved husband of 45 years to Donna Marie Dowe (nee Duquette). Loving father to Christopher Matthew (Laura Ortori). Adoring grandfather to Sofia Isabella and Lilah Marie. Dear brother to Barbara Bern (late John), Brian (Charlene), Joe (Brenda) and Ian Dowe. Predeceased by his parents Raymond and Gwendolyn Dowe, his brothers Wayne and Garry Dowe and sister, Nancy Kenney.
Bruce will be remembered as a man of few words whose gentle presence was always felt and whose actions spoke volumes. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
An informal gathering to remember Bruce will be held at Beechwood Cemetery and Funeral Home, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, ON on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 11:30a.m. to 1:30p.m.
