On Thursday, January 18, 2024 in Ottawa at the Saint-Vincent hospital, at the age of 92, in the presence of her loving family, after a lengthy stay post suffering a stroke in March 2023. Predeceased by her former husband Paul Boggild (1998). Mourned and lovingly remembered by children Vilhelm (Sylvia) in Gravenhurst, and Paula (Kevin) in Montreal, and grandchildren Miranda (Mike), Kyle, Ashley, Katrina, and Aidan, plus great-grandchildren Robin and Alicia. Faye was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Margaret Arnberg and was born and raised in Ottawa.
Faye enjoyed conversations with friends and family. She was an avid bridge player with various weekly groups. She initially worked as a draft person at NRC (national research council) and drew up the plans for the family home built on Grandview road. She enjoyed sewing and made clothes for herself and young children.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday March 23, from 1-3pm, tribute at 2pm, at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, ON).

So sorry for your loss and that I will miss her celebration of life as I will not be back from Florida in time.
I’m sure when Faye visited mom when she had her stroke she could not have imagined the possibility of following in her footsteps even though they shares many experiences throughout their lives as steadfast friends. Sincerest heart felt condolences.
