Passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, in Ottawa; at the age of 95. Son of the late Massimo and Delfina Fuochi. Beloved husband of the late Lucille (née Beaudin). Cherished father of Claude, Sylvie (late Gérald Proulx), Laurent, and Diane (Sergio Chavez). Marcello will also be missed by his sister-in-law Hélène (Isaias Solomon), several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and by many friends. Founding member of the Emiliana Association of Ottawa and General Grinding & Machine Works. A Memorial Service will be held at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 1 p.m., followed by a reception.

C'est avec tristesse que j'ai su pour votre papa. Il était un ami chère de mon papa et leur retrouvailles au fils des années furent toujours des occasions de réjouissances. Je me rappellerai toujours de lui comme étant un homme bon, simple, accueillant, généreux et enthousiaste, dévoué à votre maman et à vous, les enfants. Il arborait son grand sourire comme une invitation à une halte récupératrice et nos visites sur sa ferme furent un échange d'histoires personnelles sans fin. Sachez qu'il veillera toujours sur vous comme il a toujours fait quand il était présent parmi vous, depuis votre plus jeune âge.
