It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rosa Ho, who passed away peacefully with her family by her side at The Ottawa Hospital, General Campus on Tuesday, January 23, 2024; she was 95 years old.

Rosa was the beloved wife of Benedict for 67 years, cherished mother of Marie (late Rick Pittuck), Anne, Peter (Giovanna Valente), Kathleen (Gary Illmann), Christine (Robert Gelfand) and Josie (Anthony Costantini), and proud Nana of Michaela, Andrew, Adrianna (Jesse Holder), Caroline, Jonathan and Lauren.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Ave, Ottawa, ON) from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

A funeral mass followed by a reception will take place on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Divine Infant Catholic Church (6658 Bilberry Dr., Orleans, ON).

As an expression of sympathy, please consider a donation to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation in Rosa’s memory.

What a wonderful photo you have chosen of Mrs. Ho. This is exactly how we picture her and as she will be preserved in our memories - a beautiful, gentle, graceful lady whose warmth was ever present. She leaves such a beautiful legacy as she has passed the very same qualities to each and every member of her attentive and loving family.
Our whole family extends deepest condolences on the loss of Rosa.
Respectfully

My deepest condolences to Tua Koo and the rest of the family on the loss of Tua Kim. I have met Tua Kim at different stages in my life and I have good memories of her. She has had a good life and now she is in the presence of our Lord and our God, and also family and friends who have passed on. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul rest in eternal peace. Amen. Big hugs to my Canadian family x

It has been a great honour to be one of the caregivers who helped Mrs. Ho in the last moments of her life. Remembering when I accompanied her while eating breakfast she gave me this look when being encouraged to eat, rather it was more like a glare with a smile.
I will always cherish and remember how she would always shout Help! Help! And when being helped to get up she would hug me and would say Thank You. While helping her it reminded me of my grandmother back home. Thank you again and you will always be remembered!
And Again condolence to her loved ones.

We are very sorry to hear about the passing of Rosa. I remember her well, and her amazing energy. I remember when she travelled my grandmother to Kuala Lumpur, and hearing all the stories about their adventures. She had an amazing spirit. You are in our prayers.

Peter
