I was so sorry to read this earlier today. I knew Mac from his days at the Telephone Office in Kapuskasing. He was always so nice to this little kid who used to peek in the windows to see what was going on. Lost touch after growing up and moving away and then a couple of years ago reconnected on FaceBook after reading a comment he had posted on a Kapuskasing site. I enjoyed our conversations and of course reading all his funny posts on FB- hearing of his travels and how he loved those concerts he went to. I always had the impression he lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of it. I am so sorry for the pain you are feeling in the loss of Mac. May his memories help you cope in the days ahead.

An honour to have known Mac and to have him as part of our family. He was always keen to keep the connection with wider family across the pond and I have kept in touch with him over the years even though I now live in Australia. You will be missed Mac. Condolences to Linda and wider family. RIP Mac x
