Passed away surrounded by family at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa on Monday, April 3, 2023; age 87. Beloved husband of Camila Lopes (nee Dias). Loving father of Rui Lopes (Alison). Cherished grandfather of Cristiano and Isabella Lopes. Son of the late Manuel and Maria Lopes.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Senhor Santo Cristo Parish (1100 Kenaston Street, Ottawa) on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., followed by an Interment at Beechwood Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in Gaspar’s memory you may do so towards the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
