With deep sadness, we announce that King Hung Tse, 89, died at home on Monday March 6, 2023. Husband to Shui Ching for 57 years, father to William (Baifen Li), Wendy and Judy. Grandpa to Samuel. Also survived by his sister Yolanda Yee, Sacramento, California and many nieces and nephews. First and foremost a family-man, he was a protector, provider, leader and friend. Although limited by Parkinson’s, he continued to remain as active as possible, had a keen mind and always had a positive attitude. Having earned two university degrees and a CPA designation, he was a strong supporter of Queen’s University. He enjoyed lively and competitive games of UNO with all takers, especially his grandson.
The family would like to thank their neighbours for always being there, the first responders for their compassionate help, the Ottawa South Palliative Group and nurses from Saint Elizabeth Health Care for their care in recent months and the many PSWs over the years. He was greatly loved and will be missed.
Friends are invited to pay respects at the Beechwood National Memorial Centre , 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa, on Thursday March 9 after 11:00a.m. followed by interment at 2:00 p.m.

Uncle King took very good care of me and sister and brothers when we were all kids. After Uncle King went to live in Canada he still sent us Christnas parcels, and we were all so excited each time. His loving care and patience to us is next only to those of our parents. Uncle King is dear to us all. We will miss him.
