With heavy hearts we must send our beloved father to his Father to rest in Heaven. Lucien Jean Lusignan died peacefully, in Ottawa, on February 14, 2023, at the age of 90. Lucien was the beloved husband of the late Thérèse Lusignan (née Chevalier) for 63 years. A devoted father to Michel (Victoria), Suzanne (Timothy), Daniel (Christine) and Christine (Eugene). He will be deeply missed by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lucien was born in Aylmer, Quebec to Philippe & Berthe (née Derouin) Lusignan. He was predeceased by his sister Irene and brother Donald. He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his family and friends.

A private family interment will take place in the Spring at Beechwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Heart & Stroke Foundation.

Mr. (Pa) Lusignan made life so fun growing up. From how to answer the phone properly lessons to having Gazebo parties for us. He was one of the “Dads” growing up in Overbrook.
It was always fun sleeping over or in a tent in the backyard watching him pretend to be mad at us. Thats why he was a special man who we all loved. Rest in peace with your loving wife Mr Lusignan from that Thomas brat. Xoxo

Sue, Mike, Danny and Christine

Please accept my sincere sympathy to you in your sorrow.

Mr. Lusignan and his lady love were the cool & mysterious grown ups on our block.
Mr. Lusinan gave my my first paid babysitting job (yes kids) and it was great fun.
He was a wonderful man and will be missed.
