With great sadness we announce the passing of Anne Delaquis at home on Monday, February 6, 2023 at the age of sixty-four.  Anne is survived by her loving husband Joey Giovanniello, her sister Sylvie and brother Pascal (Thora).  Anne was predeceased by her parents Lucien and Denise Delaquis. She will be sadly missed by her extended family, including Tata Yvette, Emma (Nanna), Ben (Carmen), Maria (Clarke), Franco (Sharon), her nieces and nephews Bernadette, Erik, Paul, Geneviève, Jonathon, Adam (Brittany), Angelo (Dayton), Francesca, Carolina (Jorge), Olivia and Christina, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada and in France.

After many years of service, Anne retired from the Public Service of Canada in 2018. She loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her husband and family. She also enjoyed gardening, travelling and was a talented artist.  Anne had a special bond with her dog Bella.  She would take Bella on many walks and would meet up with her friends for a social gathering every day, at the park. Anne was a beautiful soul, she will be sadly missed.

The family will hold a private memorial service and burial at the Beechwood Cemetery on Thursday, February 16, 2023.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Ottawa Humane Society or to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation.

Our deepest sympathy to you Joey and all of the family. Anne will always be remembered in my heart as a dear and trusted friend; the gentle summer breeze that brought calm and sunlight to the office each and every day. May she rest without pain now. We will miss her so much.

Joey I was broken hearted to hear of Anne's passing. She always brought joy to whatever room she entered. My sincerest condolences. She leaves us far too early but will not be forgotten.
