C'est avec regret que la famille Boudreault annonce le décès soudain de Fernand Boudreault qui est décédé le 9 janvier 2023 à l'âge de 93 ans au Centre d'Accueil Champlain.

Fils de feu Samuel Boudreault et de feu Marie Boudreault (née Fortin). Époux bien-aimé de Carmen Boudreault (Danis) depuis 65 ans. Père affectueux de Lynn et Sylvie (Robert Gaudreau). Fernand est né et a grandi à La Tuque, Québec et était le septième enfant d'une famille de 16 ; feu Léopold (feu Hermance Blais), feu Jean-Claude, feu Roger (feu Pierrette Latour), frère Maurice, feu Yvanhoe (Ghislaine Veillette), feu Réjean (Lucille Quessey), feu Laurette (feu Antoine Coté), feu Dora (feu Stanley Burquel), Jeannine (feu Henri Tremblay), Murielle (Gilles Gingras), feu Thérèse, Rita (Michel Plumb), Audette, feu Ghislaine (feu Jacques Veillette). Il laisse également ses belles-sœurs Madeleine Grondin, Marjolaine (Gérald Joly), Lorraine (Marcel Seguin), Lyse Danis, son beau-frère Gérald (feu Louise Bourcier) ainsi que de nombreux neveux, nièces, membres de la famille et amis.

Fernand a été membre des Forces armées canadiennes pendant 29 ans et membre de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada pendant 10 ans.

Nous tenons à remercier le personnel dévoué du Centre d'Accueil Champlain qui lui a prodigué d'excellents soins durant son court séjour.

Une messe commémorative aura lieu le vendredi 20 janvier 2023 à 10 h 30 en l'église Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes de Vanier 435, chemin Montréal Ottawa ON. La famille recevra les condoléances à 10 h à l'église.

Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Société protectrice des animaux d'Ottawa ou à la Société de la démence d'Ottawa seraient appréciés

 

It is with regret that the Boudreault family announces the sudden passing of Fernand Boudreault who passed away on January 9, 2023 at the age of 93 at the Centre d’Accueil Champlain.

Son of the late Samuel Boudreault and the late Marie Boudreault (née Fortin). Beloved husband of Carmen Boudreault (Danis) of 65 years. Loving father of Lynn and Sylvie (Robert Gaudreau). Fernand was born and raised in La Tuque, Quebec and was the seventh child of 16; late Leopold (late Hermance Blais), late Jean-Claude, late Roger (late Pierrette Latour), Brother Maurice, late Yvanhoe  (Ghislaine Veillette), late Réjean (Lucille Quessey), late Laurette (late Antoine Coté), late Dora (late Stanley Burquel), Jeannine (late Henri Tremblay), Murielle (Gilles Gingras), late Thérèse, Rita (Michel Plumb), Audette, late Ghislaine (late Jacques Veillette). he will be remembered by his sisters-in-law Madeleine Grondin, Marjolaine (Gerald Joly), Lorraine  (Marcel Seguin), Lyse Danis, his brother-in-law Gerald (late Louise Bourcier) and he will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Fernand was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 29 years and a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for 10 years.

We would like to thank the dedicated staff at the Centre d’Accueil Champlain for providing excellent care during his short stay.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday January 20, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes de Vanier Church 435 Montreal Road Ottawa ON. The family will receive condolences at 10 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society or the Dementia Society of Ottawa, which would be appreciated.

Dear Madam Boudreault and family,
We will always adore the memories of him, a grandfather and our Santa. Your loss deeply saddens us; may our prayers guide his soul to our Heavenly Father. Sincere condolences! We will miss him and remember till eternity.

My sincerest condolences to Carmen and the whole family. I knew and worked with Carmen for many years and would drive her home if Fern couldn’t pick her up. Very nice Man may he Rest In Peace.
