“I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.” (John 11:25)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Salwa Saikaly on January 13, 2023, at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of Fouad Saikali. Devoted and loving mother of Samir, Nada (Nicholas Bellini) and Michelle (Daniel Nassrallah). Survived by her brothers Hanna Kiwan (Maggie) and Charbel Kiwan (late Randa), and her sisters Mariam (late Hanna Aoun), Georgette (Fouad Ibrahim), and Mona (Simon Abou-Zeid).

Salwa will be forever loved by her grandchildren Dominic, Gianna, Eli, and Ava.

She will be missed by her siblings, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Salwa will be fondly remembered for her unwavering love, support, and dedication to her family, as well as her steadfast courage to live. She left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered, and her memory will be eternal.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a visitation at Beechwood Funeral Services, located at 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, ON, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
