On July 26th, 2022 after a life long battle with diabetes, Peter Boyle died in his 64th year. He leaves behind his loving wife Angela, his sons Matthew and his wife Ashley, Colin and his wife Erin. Peter was a very proud Poppa to William and Zachary. Peter will be sadly missed by his brother Martyn and wife Joanne, by the Begg family, Bourque family and the Robinson’s, his cousins Michael and Bill Dwyer, and all his nieces and nephews. Peter loved his family, silly Christmas movies and his canoe. May you find beautiful peaceful waters to paddle with your best girl Maggie.

A Graveside Service will be held at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave, on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 10:00AM.

In memorial contributions can be made to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation.

Deepest condolences to the entire family. I remember Peter from having worked with him for years in the NWT and here in Ottawa at Aboriginal Affairs. Fondest memories were when we travelled north of the Arctic Circle during our Land Use Inspectors course. Peter was always deeply an environmentalist and a naturalist at heart. His love of nature and respect for the environment defined him as man and great colleague and friend.

Angela and family.
I’m so sorry to hear of Peter’s passing. Our parents were such great friends and I have many fond memories of Peter at the “brown cottage” playing cards, snowmobiling and camping. Sending hugs xoxo

I am saddened to hear of Peter's passing. Peter and I worked together in the NWT, we were both on the same forest fire overhead fire team. I admired his determination to work in the NWT and be an active part of the forest fire control program despite his fight with diabetes. I remember the big grin on his face when he climbed on a helicopter, we were evacuating our fire camp, he was the last man out of the camp. My sincerest sympathy and condolences

Angela our thoughts are with you. We were saddened to hear of Peter’s death. Peter & I worked several years together, as you know & shared a Nahanni adventure as well as many wildfires. I know how much Peter struggled with diabetes, but we remember the good times & the laughs at ourselves & each other. He wil be missed.
Your friends.

Deepest condolences to Angela and the entire family. It's been a long time since I saw Peter and Angela. I'm sure he was a wonderful husband and father. His mother and my father were siblings. Living in Alberta didn't allow for lots of visits but was a great cousin on the few visits. RIP dear cousin.
