The family of June Ranger announces her death at the age of 80 following a short battle with cancer. She will be missed by her children Michel (Jessica), Juline (Randy), grandsons Alex and Philippe Dugré, her brother David (Carol) Bellefeuille and sister Lise Bellefeuille. She was pre-deceased by her parents Walter and Madeline Bellefeuille, sister Julie Henry and brother Gordon Bellefeuille.

She was the devoted wife of Martial Ranger (deceased) for more than 50 years and mother of Joël Ranger (deceased). She also leaves nieces, nephews and friends with many cherished memories like travelling, family dinners, holiday gatherings and quilting.

Born in Ottawa in 1942, she was the eldest of 5 children. She married the man of her dreams, Martial Ranger shortly after high school and together lived in the same home for over 50 years. Family and friends were her pride and joy and always put them first. She enjoyed baking, sewing, knitting and especially quilting.

Family and friends are invited to visit the Sacred Space of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. on Thursday, July 28th beginning at 12 noon. A celebration of life will begin at 1 pm followed by her internment and reception.

Special thank you to the caring staff on the 5th Floor of the Elizabeth Bruyère Hospital who took excellent care of her over the last month.

In lieu of flowers, donations to your charity of choice are appreciated.

June & I had become very good friends in the past 8 years after our husbands past away. We travelled together & confided with each other about sad & happy things. We cried & laughed about joys & pains. We considered Each other as sisters in the past few years & I was glad to get to know her family. Michel was there for us every week on Sundays. Thank you Michel for being there for me to see her in her last weeks in Bruyere. I still will miss her but she is not suffering anymore. Goodbye June.

June and I have been friends since high school. Life took
Us in different directions but our friendship never changed.
June loved her family and was always so loving and kind.
We always had so many stories to share when we got together.
She will be missed by our school group. Love and prayers.

So sad to hear about the passing of June. I met June at the Crosswinds’s apartment. We became friends and because of her I met other people. I had just lost my husband to cancer and struggling to socialize, but June wanted to start a social committee and she got me involved. Thanks to her I started to meet people. She will be missed!
Rest In Peace, lovely lady.
