It is with great sorrow and regret that we annonce the death of our beautiful and beloved mother, Pierrette Polnicky, who passed away peacefully on July18, 2022, at the age of 89 years old. We will remember Pierrette as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Widow of the late Dr Ted (Thaddhé) Polnicky. Loving mother to Marc, Luc (Nora), Lynda (Jacques Morin) and Gilles (Tammy). Proud and cherished grandmother to Marie-Pier (Eric), Dominic (Mélanie), Mitchell, Brent (Mélissa) and great-grandmother to Félix, Coralie, and Théodore. Will be dearly remembered by her sister Nicole (late Roland Lecomte) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Gisèle (late Donald), Yvon (Diane), Jean-Guy (late Hélène).
Special thanks to the staff on the 6th floor at the Ottawa General hospital, thank you for the care provided to our Mom.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit the Sacred Space of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa on Saturday July 30th after 1 p.m. A celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. followed by a reception. Donations in memory of Pierrette may be made to the Heart Notre-Dame Hospital Foundation (https://foundation.ndh.on.ca)
