It is with profound sadness that the family of Warner Smith announce his passing on June 30th at the age of 96 years old. Beloved husband to his late wife, Alberta (nee Johns). Beloved father to his late son Brian (Jocelyn), Gail (Chris), Peter (late Carol) and his late son Lane. Warner will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Brett, Natalie, Christine, Sean and his great grandchildren; Brittany, Devin, Clayton, Alexia, Michel and Anthony. Warner was the beloved son of the late Foster Smith and Amy McNeil and predeceased his siblings. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews. The family invites family and friends to a service in honour of Warner Smith on Friday, July 15th at Beechwood Cemetery.  Visitation 10-12, Burial 12:15p.m.   Special thank you to the staff and caregivers at the Lanark Lodge.

Sincere condolences to the family and friends. Great memories of our days at Maniwaki Elementary School and the Smith farm in the 1930's. RIP

Your dear dad has been so long in your life, that you will truly miss him. (Please don’t stop telling your wonderful ‘Dad’ stories!)

Thinking of you and Chris at this tender time; I know Chris joined you in bringing fabulous loving care to your Dad, especially as he reached his transition.

Love and blessings to you both and to all other family and friends who loved him ❤️
