Henderson was born on November 11, 1950, in Bridgetown, Barbados. He was a very quiet and private person, never sharing much about himself. In his youth he studied and became a Certified Electrician and stayed in this field for a short period of time. He then changed his career path and studied Accounting and Auditing and became a Forensic Internal Auditor, with professional qualifications [ACCA, CIA, CISA, CCSA]. He worked in this field until his retirement.
Henderson loved to entertain, having at home parties with all his friends. He loved his music, his clothes and his cars. Always the best for him! He was a lover of cruising, travelling, visiting many places and enjoying the various lifestyles, diverse cultures and the beauty of the countries he visited.
He was an avid Walker. A member of the Walkers Club in Barbados and Canada, walking many trails, hills and completing many marathons. He was also a passionate player of lawn tennis and an avid gardener.
Always "there" for anyone, to lend a helping hand. He had a big and kind heart and will always be remembered for this.
Henderson departed his beautiful family, friends and world on April 4, 2022, after succumbing to pancreatic cancer. He outlived his original preliminary diagnosis of 3-6 months and survived for 3 years.
He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Donna, and daughter, Rudonna. He will always be remembered and truly missed by them, his siblings and their spouses, nieces and nephews, in-laws, friends and associates. Henderson had a wonderful, memorable, and diverse life.
A memorial service will be held on May 13, 2022, at 1:30pm at the gravesite at Beechwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and memoriams, Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated.

Hendy my friend, you made an indelible impression on my life and I am grateful that I got the opportunity to say how much I appreciated your advice and friendship over the years.
I admired your positivity especially during the most challenging period of your life. When others would have given up you persevered. You fought the good fight and against the odds, endured to the end. Most of all we thank God for extending your life by an extra three years and giving you the opportunity to visit with friends and love ones one more time.
You will always be in my heart my friend. Until we meet again, RIP. Sincere condolences to your family.

Dear Donna, Rudi and Henderson's family. I remember when I met Hendy in the early days of 1973 in Barbados through our mutual friend Oscar Birch. Many years later we caught up in Canada and Hendy entertained and made sure I had a fantastic time during my visits. Hendy was a very cool individual and with all his jokes if he was a comedian he would have been unemployed.
Hendy was never contented while shopping. it would take him about three weeks before he made up his mind on the items he wished to purchase. I could go on and on about his antics but there would not be enough time.
Hendy you will be truly missed by Donna, Rudi, your family and many friends from all over the world.
My heart is saddened by your demise and you will always be in my thoughts. So Hendy my brother and my friend I bid you farewell until we meet again.. R.I.P.
