Don was a special human being; compasionate, generous, wise, witty and outgoing. Always ready to lend a helping hand, give sound advice and listen. He made the world a better place and left a lasting positive impression on many. He will be missed. Condolences to Julius and his family.

Don was our family lawyer for four decades. He was very approachable and quickly put his clients at ease. I remember how kind he was to my ailing mother when she needed assistance. MY sincere condolences to his partner and all of his family.

I was privileged to have practised law with Don for almost 17 years. His integrity was beyond reproach. His concern for our clients, who came from all walks of life, was something I always admired. He was also a lot of fun to be around. I will always be grateful to him.

Don, a friend & mentor, passed too soon. Finally, we at Risk Reduction have developed a mental health vaccine ( visit mhprr.com) and bringing it to the market this month. Over several years of breakfasts & lunches Don gave me terrific references for the need of this vaccine as he had witnessed over his career plus his experiences with somatic medicine.
Don, I am deeply sadden by your passing. RIP! Sincere condolences to one and all.

Our condolences to Julius and the family.

We considered ourselves very blessed to have Don as a friend. He was always so full of fun and engaged in so many organizations, conversations were endless and entertaining. His wealth of knowledge allowed him to offer such sage advice and he was generous with that and his time.

Don did so much, for so many. He was one of the best and will truly be missed.

The members and staff of the Royal Canadian Naval Benevolent Fund (RCNBF) recently learned that a long-time member and good friend to the Fund had crossed the bar. Don Grant's contribution to the Fund and his compassion and support in volunteering with so many charities and social institutions are fondly and gratefully remembered.

Sincere condolences to his family and friends and may he have fair winds and following seas on this, his final journey.

Don and I first met through the RCN and RCNR. My admiration for him only grew over the years.
I met Julius his partner later in Don’s career but perhaps Julius may not know of Don’s special artistic talent in crafting (and sporting) Roman helmets from cigarette pack foil! He was widely celebrated by all members of the Lundy’s Lane Officers’ Mess!
My condolences to Julius and his family
Yours aye
Robert

So sad to find out this news. What an amazing man. He was such a joy to be around. Always the centre of the party. I had been out of touch for a long time but we chatted in 2019 and it felt like old times when he would pop by to see Mom and Dad. Sending Jason and Martin lots of love. xo

Don Grant was my friend for over 10 years. We first met through a business association and then became good friends. I always enjoyed his company and was enriched by his wisdom, intelligence and humour. We often had lunch together, exchanged books and had lots of laughs. He was always upbeat, positive and looking forward. I will miss him greatly and send sincere condolences to his family and his wonderful partner Julius. With affectionate sympathy, Michael Adams
