My condolences to Liliane and family. I met Bob at the Court. I will always remember Bob as a kind person. He was always patient and generous with me and he was a great mentor. He was also so funny. I consider myself very lucky to have met Bob.
He will be missed.

I sat outside Bob’s office when I first started at the Federal Court over 30yrs ago. A memory that I’ve always cherished. His humor was undeniably witty. Bob was a wonderful mentor and I valued his guidance and suggestions, such a keen observer. I was happy to experience the same ‘ole Bob when we spoke during covid lockdown. Lilianne my deepest sympathy on your significant loss, what a beautiful couple. Chris and Stephen your Father spoke of you regularly, obviously a proud Dad. Wishing you and your families strength in your time of grief.

So sorry to have heard of Bob's passing He was a wonderful funny guy - I met him on his and or my travels across the different offices of the Federal Court - Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa. Loved his stories at morning coffee breaks when I worked with him in Ottawa just before he retired. Thinking of you Liliane and the family, deepest condolences.

In the midst of the Court’s diverse personalities, it was so nice that Liliane, a lady of intelligence and grace, and Bob, her match in both respects, found each other. Bob’s subtle and engaging wit made me smile many times over the years. My condolences to all.
