Passed away peacefully in Ottawa on Saturday March 19, 2022 at the age of 81. Labibé Chemaly Moubarak, is predeceased by her beloved husband the late Joseph Moubarak. Loving mother of John and Louis Moubarak. Cherished mother-in-law of Genoveffa Fiorin and Antoinette Moubarak and treasured grandmother of Estelle, Mario, Marc-Antoine and Clara. Labibé will be missed by her brother-in-law François Moubarak and his family, her brother (Jean Chemaly) and sister (Antoinette Tabet) and their families in Lebanon, UAE and USA as well as her late sisters’ families (Marie Fahed, Josephine Rizkallah and Jacqueline Bouckaert) in Lebanon, France and USA. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday March 22, 2022 from 6:00 to 9:00pm at Beechwood Cemetery - 280 Beechwood Ave. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 11:00am at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St. Interment Beechwood Cemetery. In memory of Labibé, donations to Saint Charbel Church would be appreciated.
