Nina was an extraordinary mother, in 1966 she bundled up her four babies and along with her husband crossed the globe to begin a new life in Canada. The gifts of opportunity she gave her family with this bold move have been life altering. She was a generous and loving mother, a giver of many chances. Nina was a teacher, an artist, and a lover of music and song. She was a woman of faith, full of grace and a friend to many. She cherished her six grandchildren and was enchanted with her great-grandchild. She radiates love as that was her life force. We cannot express how much she will be missed.

Tante Nina's sweet voice is forever etched in my mind calling out "Gaby, Gigi, Catia, Jojo" when it was time for a meal or any time she needed to gather the kids. Nina and Didi opened their home to us when we first moved from Spain and I'm forever grateful for the warm welcome. My heart aches for the family she so loved and a little extra for her Didi. Bon repos ma belle tante Nina, c'est bien mérité. I'll miss our Bellavista Sunday brunches ?
