- est décédée paisiblement à la résidence Saint Patrick d’Ottawa après une longue lutte contre la maladie d’Alzheimer à l’âge de 85 ans.
Elle était l’épouse bien-aimée de Jean-Yves Laberge. Elle laisse également ses deux fils ; Yves (Lynn) et Pierre (Maria Di Pippo). Elle était la grand-maman adorée de Chantal (Josh Suchorab), Tessa (Scott Rail) et Marco, ainsi que l’arrière-grand-maman de Théodore, Ashton et Grayson.
La messe commémorative en présence de l’urne aura lieu le mardi 15 octobre 2024 en la Cathédrale Notre-Dame, (rue Sussex, entre les rues St. Patrick et Guigues) à 10h00 suivie d’une réception en l’honneur de Diane au Centre commémoratif national Beechwood (280 av Beechwood) de 11h30 à 14h00.
Pour ceux qui le désirent, au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Société d’Alzheimer du Canada ou à la Fondation de la Maison Saint-Patrick d’Ottawa seraient appréciés.

I feel truly Blessed to have known Mrs. Laberge during her care at St. Patrick's Home. Mrs. Laberge was a beautiful soul, inside and out, and that was very reflective in her mannerisms, her laughter (which brought so much joy to the unit ), her kindness, and her soft nature. As saddened as I was to have read of her passing, I feel so fortunate to have held her hand the week before, as we sat in her room listening to her Classical music, an activity that gave her tremendous joy. I was humbled by the expression of love and devotion given Mr. Laberge, who without fail, ensured his wife was comfortable, content, and never missed one day to see her. This expression of love touched me deeply , and that memory will always stay with me. My deep condolences to Diane and Mr. Laberge's sons Yves and Pierre, and their families as they heal during their loss of a wonderful mother and person. May God give strength and peace to the Laberge family. Rest In Peace, Mrs. Laberge. I will most truly miss you.
