Lisa passed peacefully surrounded by her family at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Saturday, February 1, 2025; at the age of 58. Beloved wife of Daniel Cockburn and loving mother of Spencer. Cherished sister of Peter Lafleur (Cathy) and Richard Lafleur (Melissa). Sister-in-law of Cathy (late Kenneth Brophy) and Joanne. Aunt of Lance and Nicholas Lafleur and of Matthew (Shelley) and Joshua (Julie) Hariski. Great-aunt of Alex, Jayla, Charlee, Daxeena, Jack and Nash. Predeceased by her parents Claude Lafleur and Isabelle Lafleur (née Thompson).
In keeping with Lisa’s wishes, a private family interment will be held at Beechwood Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Manotick Legion (5550 Ann Street, Manotick). In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The ICU department at the Ottawa Civic Hospital in Lisa’s memory.
