With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Madeleine Roussel (née Lalonde) on September 26, 2024 at 79 years of age. Deeply mourned by her daughter Christine Roussel (Rob Chiasson), her siblings; Pauline Leblanc, Liquori Lalonde (Louise Lalonde), Jacques Lalonde (Cécile Lalonde), her nieces and nephews and her many friends at the Daly Co-Op.
She was predeceased by her sister Lise Leblanc and brother-in-law’s Robert Leblanc and Marcel Leblanc.
She was warm, caring, and thankful for a life well-lived, making this an excellent example of how to say goodbye with grace, charm, and gratitude.
A celebration of life will be held at Beechwood Cemetery (280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa, ON) on Monday, October 7th from 3-5pm.
Donations to Beechwood Cemetery, in honor of Madeleine’s memory, are welcome in lieu of flowers.
Madeleine was a wonderful friend and neighbour. We shared good and bad times. I miss her very much. I just know that she is at peace now and that's all that matters. Her struggles are over.
