It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Fred Blair in early May, at the age of 61. Born in Ottawa, son of the late Donald Blair, and survived by his mother Mary-Lou, his sisters Missy, Amanda (Robert), Dawn (Mike), and his niece Ava formally Tristan. Fred wore many hats throughout his life, he always loved trying new things. Forever curious about the world around him, he loved a good adventure. Artist, security guard, nature enthusiast, model builder, history buff, spelunker, he loved art, puzzles, music, crystals and waterfalls. He had an enduring spirit and he never gave up. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
