Resting in the arms of the Lord, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Gatineau on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the age of 59.
Cherished son of Iskandaria Abou-Nasr Soueidan and the late Youssef Fares Soueidan. Beloved husband of Marleine Makhoul-Soueidan. Loving father of Joseph, Christine, and Fares. Beloved brother of the late Fares (late Leila), Touma (Miriam), George (Joumana), Ramziya (Salomon Massoud) and Marie (Maher Dahabra).
He will also be dearly missed by the Soueidan, Abou-Nasr, Makhoul, Ghattas, Maalouf, Kayal, Massoud, Dahabra, Razzouk, Chaaya, Semaan, Fahed, El-Salibi, Mansour, Kenaan, Siddawi, Minassian, Elias, Rashed, Rahal, Ghosn, El-Khoury and Moussallem families in Canada, the US and Lebanon.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 11:00 am at St. Charbel Parish, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St., Ottawa with Interment at Beechwood Cemetery to follow. For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Charbel Church or La Maison Mathieu Froment-Savoie would be appreciated.
