Marjorie passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 18, 2023, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
She was the daughter of the late Clifford and Dorothy Husk of Melborne Quebec where she grew up. Marjorie graduated from McGill Teacher’s College, Macdonald Campus in Ste. Anne de Bellevue and went on to teach Grade 3 in Danville, Quebec for several years. Yearning for more adventure, she enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force as an LAW Communication Operator. It was there where she met her husband-to-be, Milton. They were married at CFB Rivers, Manitoba and all three of their children were born there. The Pelley Family spent the next couple of decades living at various Canadian Forces bases from the Atlantic to the Pacific before settling in Nepean.
Predeceased by her brother Bruce, she will be sadly missed by her sisters Helen and Patricia.
Left to mourn is her loving husband of 64 years Milt, her children Kevin, Kenneth, and Donna Mae, her granddaughter Alexandra, grandsons Luke, Mark, and Ian, and her great-grandsons Brodie and Caden; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and many wonderful friends, near and far.
We would like to thank St. Patrick’s Home of Ottawa for the loving care shown to Marjorie over the past six years, especially the wonderful caregivers of Carlow House.

My condolences. I remember Marj from high-school days in Richmond, Quebec, probably about 1950 or so. Then met up with her again about 25 years ago, playing bridge. She was always cheerful and positive, and we had lots of shared memories.
I swept her off her feet sixty-four year's ago and never regretted it for a moment. She was the cement that held our family together. Love Her.
