All our thoughts and prayers are with Ver’.
I’ve been thinking back to times and memories…….. when we were all at No. 8,…….when you and Doug would come down to see me on the Isle of Wight…….when you moved into your brand new house in Crawley, yeh with the first red kettle I had ever seen, ( all of this must’ve been 60 odd years ago - where’s the time gone, eh?) ………..you pregnant with Julie, embarking at Liverpool Docks to catch up with Doug in Canada, on “was it the SS Sylvania”……your tales on the trans Canadian train, waking up, and sitting opposite was a “Red Indian” !(as we used to say)…….. you sending photos home of you and Doug’ brand new massive (to us) gleaming red and white Chevy,(ha)……….picnics in your back garden at Trojan Avenue, with You, Doug Julie & Paul when I came over with Mum……..I could go on. God bless Ver’, you’ll always be in our thoughts, safe journey, night, night.
All my love
John

Thank you for the recorded service, Dad was very grateful to view the service although unable to be there himself. He remembered the red coat and hat and of course the ironing, love to you all xx
