Passed away peacefully at her Calabogie home on Saturday March 11, 2023 at the age of 92. Widow of the late CWO Adrien A. French. Beloved mother of Lorretta (Thomas Borysenko), Vernan, Nancy (Robert Legue), Shirley (Anthony Noble) and Wayne Harding. Proud grandmother to Elynne Grennan (née Deciantis) and Damian Deciantis, Linden and Adrien Noble and great-grandmother to Daniel, Brianna, and Adrien Beaumier, Lennox and Vayda Deciantis.

Dear sister of Milton Harding (Judy) and Donald Harding (Rosamond), Shirley (late Robert Kennedy) and Bertha (late Eldon Sparkes) and fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Harriet loved gardening, the little feathered friends in the yard and was especially proud of the roses she grew in British Columbia.  She also loved doing beadwork, drawing and gourmet cooking.  Harriet was a good financial manager and military homemaker.  She ws generous with her children and to those she called a friend.

Memorial service will be held 22 March 2023 at 1:30 PM at Beechwood followed by short service/internment at the NMC grave site at 2:30 PM.  Following the service and interment, a gathering for Remembrance/Celebration of Life is planned at the Pilos Restaurant, 876 Montreal Road at 3:30 PM.

In memoriam, donations should be made to the Cancer Society.

Our very sincere condolences to you all on the passing of your mom. We will remember Aunt Harriet fondly. I remember always looking forward to your family visits to NL when we were children. When they moved to BC we spent a lot of time with them and enjoyed the numerous visits and camping trips. The many trips to Mission Hills for their favorite vine were Roger's favorite. Find comfort in the many beautiful memories you shared with her. Sending love, Roger and Glenda
