A courageous immigrant who could not imagine at the time, the impact his decision to make a life here would have on so many with whom paths crossed. Although an only child, Romeo claims an extended family of 25 members, and counting. Among us: Beloved wife and life partner Bettina (Brun del Re), children Allessandra (Vance Millar), Marco (Chantal Miner), Fabio (Lisa Zanetti), grandchildren Nathalie (Timothy), Ryan (Stephanie), Julian, Robyn (Kyle), Lucas, Katrina (Andy), Julia (Keaghan) and Sofia (Mark) and great grandchildren Liam, Eli, Lana Rose, Harvey and Florence.
Romeo will be remembered and valued as kind, generous, opinionated, clever, wise, unapologetic, exemplary, admired, loving and very much loved.
A memorial service will be held at 10 o’clock, the morning of March 17th, 2023, at the Beechwood Funeral Home, located at 280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions made to your favoured charities, in memory of Romeo.
