Peacefully on December 5, 2022 at the age of 83 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband to Joan Marie Beaupré, of nearly 60 years. Survived by his children Rose (Steve Werhar), Brenda (Denis Comtois), John (April Du Perron), and Tina (Phil Desjardins). The joy of his life were his dear 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Lucien will also be missed by his surviving siblings, extended family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Ottawa Paramedic Service, and the doctors and nurses of the Montfort Hospital.
Friends and Family are invited to visit the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00PM and on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 8:30 to 10:00AM. A Memorial Service for Lucien will be held in the Sacred Space of Beechwood at 10:00AM, followed by his inurnment.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making an in-memoriam donation to the Ottawa Humane Society.
