It is with great sorrow that the family of Pamela Kinsman (nee Irvine) share her passing on December 3 , 2022. She was 4 months shy of her 81st birthday. Predeceased by parents William Irvine and Marguerite (Peggy) Irvine (nee Warrington).

Pam  was the loving wife of the late Edward Kinsman, cherished mother of  Robin and Jay, sister of Bob (Robin) Irvine and Danielle, aunt to Karen and Sarah. Pamela was a native to Ottawa, attended Glebe Collegiate and was very involved in figure skating, particularly the Minto Follies. She also spent many summers at Charleston lake. Through her work at Carleton University she met Edward, and the two of them enjoyed 45 years of marriage. She was very involved in schools, through volunteering, chaperoning, and organizing activities even after her children had graduated and her husband had retired. She was an avid antique collector, and auction attender.

Donations to Elisabeth Bruyère Hospital (Bruyère Foundation). Celebration of life with take place in the spring.

Dear Robin and Jay, My friend Laura and I job shared in grade one at the old school in Mahone Bay. Your mom was our class helper for quite a few years. She was so kind to all the children and they loved her. I remember that one time, your parents went somewhere where colourful beaded necklaces were given out (maybe New Orleans). Your mother brought back enough necklaces for all the kids. They were so excited. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. I have very fond memories of the time we spent together during her years in Nova Scotia. I send my deepest sympathy. Kathie Kirkpatrick

I remember Pam fondly. She came in to our classroom in Mahone Bay on many occasions to help with crafts and activities we were doing. My condolences to the family.
