It is with profound sorrow that we say good bye to David Stacey, who passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 11, 2022, at the age of 69.
Beloved husband of Katharine (Kathy) Green. Very proud father of David Ranatawes Williams, Benjamin Niokwirasha William Green-Stacey (Andrea Lesperance), and Nathan Ro’ie’shon tsi’ta George Green-Stacey. Cherished grandfather of Meadow Hope Stacey. He will be missed by brothers Charles (Charlie) and John (Gary), sister Patricia (Pat), in-laws, nephews, nieces, and many friends.
He is predeceased by his parents, George and Louise Stacey, brothers George (Sonny) and Tommy, and sister Veronica.
Visitation will be held at Beechwood Cemetery located at 280 Beechwood Avenue Ottawa, Ontario on Tuesday November 15, 2022, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Another visitation will be held at Poissant and Deer Funeral Home located at 75 Cemetery Road Kahnawà:ke Mohawk Territory, Quebec on Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm The interment for Mr. Stacey will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Kateri Cemetery Kahnawà:ke Mohawk Territory.
In memory of David, donations to the Kahnawà:ke Cultural Arts Center Capital Campaign would be appreciated.

It is always so sad to lose an old friend. I am sure that Dan Klein remembers, as I do, Dave's 35th birthday. It was 8/8/88. We got quite a laugh over the magic of the numbers. Condolences to his family and friends. Dave will be missed.
