It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy Daniel Webster on October 29, 2022, following a courageous battle with glioblastoma. Tim passed away at home with his loving family by his side.
Tim joined the Canadian Forces and received an award for his outstanding work. Wanting to do more, he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree and worked for the Oblates of Mary Immaculate for more than 22 years. He was ending his career working for the Department of National Defense.
Throughout his life, Tim was an extremely loving person who gave his affection and time to his family and friends. He also had a great sense of humour and started a conversation with anyone he met. Tim was an avid curler and cyclist and showed kindness and devotion by taking care of several elderly people. He never hesitated to help others in need.
Tim is survived by his partner of 30 years, Claude Ethier, sister Sandra (Les) Bonnar and brother Scott (Caroline) of Sydney Mines, sister Georgina (Fred) Mau of Petawawa, long time family friends, Greg and Marie MacKinnon, Edmonton, his aunt Elizabeth ( Myles) Connolly and many nephews and nieces who loved him very much. Tim was predeceased by his parents Neil and Anne (Robertson).
Cremation has already taken place. As requested by Tim, there will be no funeral. A private graveside service will be held next summer.
A special thank you to the Home and Community Care Support Services Champlain and their partners, as well as his sister Georgina, for the excellent care provided to Tim during his final weeks.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to a non-profit organization of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
