Maurice Theriault

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Maurice Theriault on Thursday September 15, 2022 at Ottawa at the age of 79 years.  Maurice was born in Hawkesbury Ontario to his parents Leo and Eva Theriault on July 16, 1943 where he lived until he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force when at the age of 19.  Maurice retired after 29 years of service as a Master Warrant Officer in 1994 which included a Peace Keeping mission with the United Nations in Golden Heights, Egypt. 

Maurice is predeceased by his five brothers and sisters Lucien, Lucille, Norma, Raymond and Therese.  He leaves behind his wife Patricia, his beloved daughters Roxanne and Nicole(Greg Lott) and will be forever missed by his two granddaughters, Maya and Katlyn Lott.  

Maurice retired to St Louis, Missouri and made many friends with connections to his faith of Judaism during this time.  Upon his return to Canada his children and grandchildren were able to reconnect with him and form memorable bonds. 

Friends and family are invited to the Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa, ON) on Wednesday September 21^st, 2022 at 1:00pm for a funeral service followed by a private family internment at the National Military Cemetery of Canada.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Carefor at www.carefor.ca who provide compassionate support or the Heart Institute of Ottawa.
