Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25th, 2026, in Ottawa. Ward, lovingly known as Rosie, was a devoted mother whose life was defined by love, sacrifice, and unwavering care for her family. She carried herself with quiet strength, deep faith, and a generous heart, always placing the needs of others before her own.

Predeceased by her love, Joseph Antoun. Loving mother of Britt (Serge Jonnaert), Micheline (Elie Nakhle), Abdo (Lina Yared), Wafaa (Youssef Atallah), Karol (David Cavagnal) and Pascale Antoun (Paulo Ricardo). Devoted grandmother Stephanie (Kyle Hockley), Jessica, Elie, Marlon (Sarah), Habib (Katrine Fortin), Maximilian, Romy and predeceased by her beautiful angel Maria Atallah. Great-grandmother of Victoria, Kya, Makena, Mateo, Walker, Ridley and Archer.

She was a dear sister to Fahd, Jamil, Emile, Samira, Mounira, Abdo, Issam and predeceased by Elias.

Rosie will also be deeply missed by her extended family and friends in Canada, Lebanon, The United States and France, whose lives she touched with her kindness, wisdom, and gentle presence.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, ON), for a Visitation on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 30th, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Charbel Parish (245 Donald Street, Ottawa).

For those who wish to make a donation in Rosie’s memory, contributions may be made to Saint Charbel Parish.
