It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Virginia Koradi, who departed peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in her 82nd year.
Born on January 14, 1943, in Belleville, Ontario, Virginia was a devoted wife to the late James Koradi, and their love endured beyond his passing. She was a proud and loving mother to Tim Koradi (Ottawa), Jeff (Joanne) Koradi (Orléans), and Tammie Koradi (Charles Rogerson) (Constance Bay.)
Virginia was a RNA, a role she embraced with compassion and dedication. She found deep fulfillment in helping others and was known for her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness.
She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Kayla, Corey, Zachary, Samantha, Justice, Raeleah, and Kieren Koradi, as well as her 11 great-grandchildren.
Virginia was a dear sister to Brian Smith (Eileen), Michael Smith (Debbie), Pam Smith (Tom Williams), Chris MacDonald (Ron), Stephen Smith, Trish Sparkes (Glenn), and Linda Westlake (Steven).
She was predeceased by her great-grandson Timathy Koradi, her sisters Janice Macleod (Bob) and Valerie Lentini (Albert), and by her parents, Gertrude and Bernard Smith.
Virginia’s warmth and kindness touched many lives. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family of nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She embraced life’s simple joys and found her greatest happiness in time spent with loved ones. Though we mourn her loss, we celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the lasting memories she leaves behind.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a Visitation at Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 11am to 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will follow at 1:00 p.m., with a reception afterward at East Side Mario’s,1820 Ogilvie Road.

Ginny was a second Mom to our family and I will cherish her love and compassion she showed us. She was my Mom’s best friend and helped her through some very difficult times. I will never forget her…..she was always there for my family. ♥️. God Bless all who are mourning her.

She was a lifeline and best friend to our mother and a mentor to myself as I achieved my RNA.
I have multiple fond memories of her and Jim that I will cherish forever. Their door was always open and as neighbors found comfort in that and I will think of her every time I play euchre! 💕

Ginny was definitely one of a kind. Her love, compassion and caring was so evident.
She was a lifeline and best friend to our mother and also a mentor to myself as I graduated the RNA program.
We always knew that Ginny and Jim's door was always open and felt comfort in that.
I do however miss her wit and Jim's father figure that we never had.
To this day I hear her voice when I play euchre.
My deepest condolences to all but remember the joy she brought to so many.
I will miss her terribly but hold on to so many fond memories.
