Youssef Nasrallah passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in Ottawa on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the age of 98. Beloved husband of Sousanne Semaan Nasrallah. Loving father of Rita (Perry McCarthy), Salwa, Georges (Patrick Hesse), Joumana, and the late Bachir. Cherished grandfather of Anthony Nayel (Giselle), and Johnny Nohra (Réale). Adored by his great-grandchildren, Bachir and Grace.
He is survived by his loving siblings, Elias Nasrallah, Thérèse Merhej, and Leila Nasrallah; predeceased by Hanneh Milan, Adla Nasrallah, Sarah Abdel-Nour, Elizabeth Nohra, and Gerges Nasrallah. He will be deeply missed by the Semaan and Assad families, as well as by his nieces and nephews from the Nasrallah, Nohra, Merhej, Saad, Rouffael, Yaghi, Haroun, Salameh, Klaeiani, Chebli, Zakaria, Abou Gharib, El-Hajj, Akiki and Milan families.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald Street. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery. For those wishing, in lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Charbel Parish, would be appreciated.
