It is with deepest sympathies we announce the death of our beloved Maureen Ann Turner. She died peacefully on Wednesday June 25th, 2025 at the age of 64.
Daughter of Catherine and the late Clarence Turner.
She was the beloved wife of Brian Cook and loving mother of Rachel (Simon), Claire (Brett), Nathan (Katarina) and two grand daughters, Laragh and Georgina. Maureen was predeceased by her son Andrew.
She will be missed by her brothers and sister: Brian and Wendy Turner, Wayne and Mona Turner, Murray Haley, Janice Turner and Mark Foerster, Neil Turner and Lorna Murphy, Glen Turner and Sherry Sinclaire, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is pre deceased by her sister Nancy Turner and father Clarence Turner.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 10:00am in the Sacred Space at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, (613)741-9530. For those who cannot attend in person, the funeral service will be live-streamed, please access the livestream via the link on this online obituary starting at 9:45am.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
