Diane Ethier (née Lavergne)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Elaine Ethier (née Lavergne) on August 29, 2026, at the age of 85.

Diane was the cherished daughter of the late Alfred and Yvette (née Robert) Lavergne. She was a loving sister to Robert Lavergne (Joke) and Leane Wise, and was predeceased by Loretta Dagnais (late Edward), Carol Rawlins (late Arthur and late Ken), and Robert Beauchamp (Sharon). She was also a dear sister-in-law to the late John Ethier (Claire) and Carol VanDerbyle (Ethier).

Diane was the beloved wife of the late Martial Alfred Ethier and a devoted mother to David Ethier, Christine Tessier (late Mark), Paul Ethier (Manon Roy), and Peter Ethier.

She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Martina, David Jr., Jessie, Amanda, Cole, Jeffery, and Johnathan, and her great-grandchildren Kaylee, Alexander, Scarlett, and Hazel.

Diane was a loving, caring, honest, hard-working, and fun-loving woman. She enjoyed travelling, meeting new people, and making memories, but above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family. A devout Catholic and avid Blue Jays fan, Diane lived her life with warmth, faith, and a genuine love for those around her.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
