She made many friends around the world who valued her company and companionship.

I first met Noel in 1998 when she and Matthew joined our home Bible study group (caregroup) in Hong Kong. Despite the cancer treatement she was receiving at the time, Noel’s joyful spirit and love for the Lord gave her a peace which transcended all understanding. It was the same peace that sustained Noel all the following years, endowing her with the strength to weather any storm or challenge that came her way.

Noel was loved and treasured by all of us as a dear sister in Christ. She was always ready to bless us with her gentle smile, her humour and her wise counsel. Indeed her views were much sought after by many in our caregroup. It was a privilege for us to have done life together with Noel and Matthew in Hong Kong. Noel demonstrated to us how and what it meant to live with Christ in the center of our lives.

I am comforted by the assurance that we will meet again in our eternal home where her beautiful smile and laughter will be beaming through, once again.
