It is with great sadness that the family of Jeffrey Orange announce his sudden passing at home on October 3, 2024, at the age of 53. Jeff will be lovingly remembered by his wife Andrea Allevato, his father Winston (Lucille Parizeau), and his sisters, Kelly (Guy Lacasse) and Tracy. He was predeceased by his mother, Sandra Platt. Jeff will be greatly missed by his numerous other family members and friends.

Jeff was a big man with a big heart, and an even larger-than-life personality. While he faced struggles in early adulthood, he overcame them with strength and determination. He always held the memory of his beloved mother, Sandra close to his heart. He valued his marriage and family above all else. His family, friends and colleagues will miss his sense of humour, his generosity and the way he could talk to anyone about anything, especially movies or music.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), on Thursday, October 17th from 6 to 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Anglican Church, 2345 Alta Vista Drive, on Friday, October 18th at 11am. Reception to follow in the church hall.  Memorial donations may be made in Jeff’s name to the Ottawa Food Bank.

What can I say except we'll miss Jeff so very much. As his older sister it hurts deeply to see him go - heck we butted heads more often than not, we both suffered from the"Orange stubbornness" but I loved him, respected him and knew he'd always have my back and was always there for dad.
He was a fantastic brother, brother in law, son and uncle. I can only take solace in knowing he's with mom now after all these years.
Rest well Jeff, you deserve it. 💖😭
