As a fellow french horn player in the Ottawa Rube band I will miss not having you by my side. You were a great mentor and musician. You inspired me to know that a french horn can sing like an angel. Ein Prosit

Carl asked me to join him in a brass quintet. It was a terrific opportunity for me to be playing with someone so experienced and knowledgeable. I learned a great deal from my time playing with Carl and always deeply valued our time spent together. We played many gigs over several years before the quintet folded. My sincere condolences to Carl's family on your loss.

The music world has lost a great musician. I have known Carl when he played for the Rockland Community Concert Band and the Ottawa Community Concert Band when I played with him. Not only he was a fine French Horn Player but a good friend and mentor.

My deepest condolences to the Stapleton Family. RIP Carl.
