Peacefully with her daughters at her side. Yvette moved to the next stage in her cosmic journey with courage and grace, the same way she lived her life here with us.

She is survived by her loving daughters Lisa (Darryl) and Tina (Mandy), sister Ellen, brother Louis (Diane), the Kitchener gang, MGW, her many friends and co-workers at the Canadian Red Cross and all other areas of her rich life.

Predeceased by her dear husband Sandro and parents Marius and Patricia.

Thank you to the caring staff and friends she made at the Ottawa Rehabilitation Centre, The Ottawa Civic Hospital, and St Vincent’s Hospital.

Friends and family are welcome to celebrate Yvette’s beautiful life at Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa on Wednesday, July 22,2026. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm in the Visitation Suites, followed by the service at 1pm in the Sacred Space.

Donations in Yvette’s honour will be graciously accepted by the Canadian Red Cross and Spinal Cord Injury Ontario.

Our antics are too many to count. Our MGW weekends and coffee nights were the highlight of our lives where we shared all aspects of our lives with each other You my friend will be deeply missed Your beloved Sandro has you again beside his side where the 2 of you can rest in eternal peace.     Always enjoyed our years working together at Red Cross. After I left Red Cross you always remembered my birthday and always gave me a big hug when I dropped by to see you. One always felt happier after catching up with Yvette.
