It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pawel on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, at the age of 70. He passed peacefully in his sleep at home after a battle with cancer.
Devoted husband of Izabela for 43 years. Loving father of Claudia (Denis), Philip (Jessica), and Peter. Cherished grandfather of Emily, Lucy, Lily, Henry, and Thomas and beloved brother of Teresa and Anna.
Pawel was born on December 21st in Poland to Maria and the late Czeslaw Trajdos. Pawel’s memory will always be cherished by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Pawel will be remembered for his passion for gardening, fishing, helping others, and his deep love for his family. He especially cherished his role as dziadzia, and his grandchildren brought him tremendous joy. His passion for the outdoors was shared with and will live on through his children and grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to an Interment at Beechwood Cemetery on Friday, September 25 at 1 p.m. (please arrive for 12:30), followed by a Celebration of Pawel’s Life at Beechwood National Memorial Centre from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
