Michel Gérard Blanc passed away in Ottawa, Ontario, at the age of 78.
Born in Aurillac, France, in 1948 to René Blanc and Alice Blanc (née Lalo), Michel developed a deep passion for music from an early age. As a young man, he performed as a stage musician in France before eventually making Canada his home. Music remained a constant source of joy throughout his life in addition to his love of art and antiques.
Michel will be greatly missed by his friends and by all those who share in his life.
