It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Marcel Groulx on September 18, 2026, at the age of 78. He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Monique Paradis Groulx and the son of the late Laurent Groulx and the late Rachelle Croteau.
In addition to his wife, he leaves to mourn his children Martin (Josée), Jean-François (Marie-France), and Marie-Eve (Philippe), as well as his grandchildren Zachary, Daphné, Xavier, Noémie, Gabriel, and Dominic. He also leaves his brother Michel, his sister Pierrette, as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Jean-Guy and his sisters Micheline and Lise.
The funeral service will be held at the Sacred Space of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, located at Beechwood Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive condolences beginning at 12:00 p.m.
