It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Luciano Boselli, who died on May 22, 2026, in Ottawa, at the age of 84.
Born on September 18, 1941, in Borgo Val di Taro, Luciano was known for his generosity, his pride, and his unwavering devotion to his family. Throughout his life, he worked as a cabinetmaker for the House of Commons of Canada, where he applied his talent and meticulous craftsmanship to his profession.
A man of heart and tradition, he was deeply connected to Ottawa’s Italian community and actively involved with the Associazione Nazionale Alpini. He will be remembered as a hardworking man, proud of his roots, always ready to lend a hand, and profoundly devoted to those he loved.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Pauline Boselli, his son Sandro Boselli, and his daughter‑in‑law Renée Longtin, as well as many relatives, especially his cousin Anna Cristina, and close friends both here and in Italy.
The family will receive condolences on Monday June 1st, 2026 at 9 h 30 at Saint Anthony of Padua church (427 Booth St, Ottawa). A ceremony will follow at 10 a.m.
