Kenneth Frigstad

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ken Frigstad, who passed away on October 29, 2026, at the age of 85.

Ken shared a once-in-a-lifetime love with his beloved wife, Rachelle Frigstad (née Bergeron). She was his heart, his greatest love, and the person he fought so hard to stay with until the very end. Their bond was a rare and beautiful love, one that will forever remain a part of his legacy.

Ken was a cherished father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He leaves behind his loving children, Kelly (Stephanie) Frigstad, Nelson (Lilly) Frigstad, and Michelle Frigstad, as well as his beloved stepchildren, Natasha and Claude Vanasse.

Ken was deeply loved by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought so much love and joy to his life. He also had a special love for animals, which reflected his caring heart.

A well-known and much-loved member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 54 years, Ken touched many lives throughout his remarkable journey. His longstanding involvement in AA was an important part of his life, and he will be fondly remembered by the many people whose lives he touched within that community.

A Mass in memory of Ken will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Assumption Church. Family and friends are welcome to gather to honour his life and celebrate his memory.

Ken leaves behind a legacy of love, lasting connections, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, his family, his friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
