With hearts full of love and a touch of disbelief, we share that John Wilson passed away in July 2026 after a surprising life altering battle with cancer. He was cremated later that month, in a quiet moment that felt far too small for someone whose presence filled every room he ever walked into.

Though cancer took John from us, his spirit has not dimmed. It lives in the stories we tell, the habits they taught us, the way they made ordinary days feel meaningful. It lives in the people they loved — and in the people who loved them back with everything they had.

John was the beloved husband of Carlotta Omage.

John will be remembered by his mom Beryl, his siblings Emma (UK), Claire (UK), his children Charlotte (UK), Tommy (UK), Emmie-Rose (Canada), Max (Canada) along with his extended family, friends, and clients.

John is pre-deceased by his father Raymond and his brother Mark.

John was a British Armed Forces veteran and He was also the owner and founder of K2O School of bicycle mechanics.

A Celebration of Life will be held on 13th November 2026, where we will gather to share memories, swap stories, and probably laugh at all the things John would not want us to forget. We’ll honour his kindness, his humour, and the way they made each of us feel seen and loved.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to their widow to help cover expenses and support her during this difficult time. Your generosity means more than words can say.

John is cherished, missed and will always be loved.

Digital Guestbook

  1. John, my wonderful friend since we were infants at school. We lost touch for a while and social media brought us together again. Your love and support when my Steve died was amazing, learning to speak French with you was so much fun. RIP my lovely friend another angel watching over us. I will love and miss you always. Xxx
